Who We Are
Land Grade Solutions was built on a simple premise: that the people doing the work should know the land they're working. Not from a map, not from a soils report — from years of living, working, and moving dirt across western NC and the piedmont.
We know what the clay feels like in Caldwell County after a wet week. We know how the rock shelf sits in Alexander and Iredell. We know which hillsides in Watauga drain fast and which ones hold water until June. That knowledge doesn't come from a certification course — it comes from being from here.
When you hire Land Grade Solutions, you're not getting a crew that's been dispatched from somewhere else. You're getting neighbors who will treat your property the way they'd want their own treated — and who you can actually call back if something isn't right.

Western NC & the Piedmont
What We Stand For
We didn't relocate here to find work. We were born and raised in the foothills of western NC and the piedmont. This is our community, our neighbors' land, and our reputation on the line with every job.
Our operators have spent years behind the controls of track hoes, dozers, and finish grading equipment across every county we serve. There's no substitute for that kind of time in the seat.
The difference between a good grading job and a great one is in the details — the final pass, the drainage slope, the compaction. We don't call a job done until it's genuinely right.
We'd rather turn down a job than do it halfway. Every site we touch gets the same standard of work, whether it's a small residential drainage fix or a multi-acre commercial site prep.
Our Standard
That's not a tagline we put on a truck. It's the standard we hold every job to. Average is a French drain that almost works. Average is a grade that mostly drains. Average is a building pad that's close enough.
We don't do close enough. We do it right — because the people we work for are building homes they'll live in for decades, starting businesses on land they've saved up for, or trusting us with properties that have been in their families for generations. That deserves more than average.

Our People
We're not trying to be the biggest contractor in western NC. We're trying to be the best one to work with. That means keeping our crew tight, our communication clear, and our standards consistent across every job — whether it's a half-day drainage fix or a two-week site prep.
Every member of our crew is expected to show up, pay attention, and take ownership of the work they put their name on. We'd rather be known for doing fewer jobs excellently than more jobs adequately.
